Garbage Bin Approval

A ratepayer or resident within the Rural Municipality of Deer Forks No. 232 is entitled to a Triways garbage bin at no cost if they meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a permanent resident of the RM of Deer Forks No. 232
  • Or if you are not a permanent resident, you must be an active farmer or rancher with a shop, or barn, or utilized living quarters

Accessibility

All garbage bins must be located in an accessible location approved by Triways.  If the bin is not accessible for an empty then the bin may be taken away and the service ended for that party.

Complaint Procedure

The Rural Municipality of Deer Forks No. 232, and its council, will consider and review all ratepayer requests for a garbage bin in a meeting if they do not fall under the expressed guidelines in this policy.  If a ratepayer has a request as they have not fallen under the guidelines above, they must submit their request in writing to the municipality either via mail or email.

Termination

If a ratepayer or resident moves or ceases to be an active farmer or rancher the garbage bin will be removed after 1 year if not requested sooner.
