The Town of Burstall Council has reviewed the costs for the Triways Bins at the Burstall Landfill Site.

  • In April 2021, the town had one of the bins at the landfill site swapped out (full for empty bin). The cost for this swap out was $1308.31. The payer/user fees that were paid to the town was $393.00.
  • In June 2021, the town had one of the bins at the landfill site swapped out (full for empty bin). The cost for this swap out was $1233.76. The payer/user fees that were paid to the town was $442.00.

With such a difference in the costs Council has made the decision to raise the following:

  • Minimum Charge: $10.00 – minimum charge for disposal fee for non bagged debris
  • Furniture/Construction and/or Renovation Materials (Broken Down): $20.00 per cubic metre
  • Bagged Debris: $5.00
